Paris, 2 November 2026 – GTT, a global leader in cryogenic containment systems for the transport and storage of liquefied gases, announces the appointment of David Colson as Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific Director and member of the Executive Committee.

In an evolving environment, the Group is continuing its transformation to support sustainable growth and drive the development of its existing and future activities.

The Asia-Pacific region plays a central role in the Group’s operations and is one of its most strategically important markets for future development. To strengthen its relationships with customers, industrial partners and institutional stakeholders across the region, GTT is establishing a new Asia-Pacific organisation.

In his new role, David Colson will define and lead the Group’s development and performance strategy across the Asia-Pacific region. He will identify growth opportunities, strengthen relationships with key customers and partners, and ensure that the Group’s strategic interests in the region are safeguarded.

David Colson joined GTT in 2004 and has nearly 30 years of experience, gained primarily in the automotive industry and then with GTT. During his career with GTT, he was a shipyard project manager until 2008 and head of the business development department until 2010, when he was appointed Commercial Director and member of the Executive Committee. Previously, he held several positions at APV, ACOME and Valeo Filtration Systems. He graduated in mechanical engineering and business administration from the University of Birmingham (Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce).
