Appointment of Michel Vanhaesbroucke as Group Marketing Director

Paris, 1 September 2026 – GTT, the technological expert in membrane containment systems used to transport and store liquefied gases, announces the appointment of Michel Vanhaesbroucke as Group Marketing Director and member of the Executive Committee. 

In his new role, Michel Vanhaesbroucke will be responsible for strengthening GTT’s strategic positioning in its historical markets and supporting the development of the Group’s new activities, at a time when the maritime transport and energy sectors are undergoing profound transformations. In particular, he will contribute to strengthening the range of services offered to ship-owners and charterers, as well as to developing the portfolio of digital solutions. To support these priorities, he will lead the Group’s marketing, market intelligence, offer development and commercial support strategies. 

A graduate of École Polytechnique and École nationale des ponts et chaussées, Michel Vanhaesbroucke has more than thirty years of experience in senior management positions within major industrial and energy groups. He spent most of his career at ENGIE, before moving to EDF and, more recently, to John Cockerill, where he served as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer. His areas of expertise include the development of international brands, the definition of growth strategies, the development of new markets, industrial partnerships, investment in innovative technologies, as well as supporting players engaged in the energy transition.
