GTT Group ranks first among mid-sized companies in the 2025 INPI patent filings

Paris, 3 March 2026 – The GTT Group, technological expert in membrane containment systems used to transport and store liquefied gases, announces that it filed 68 patent applications with the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) in 2025, ranking first among mid-sized companies (ETI) for patent filings. GTT also maintains its 23rd position in the overall INPI ranking, confirming the consistency of its innovation strategy, driven by the excellence of its engineering teams.

By allocating nearly 10% of its annual revenue to research and development, the Group is implementing an ambitious technology roadmap aimed at consolidating its leadership in the historical LNG[1] carrier market, while accelerating its expansion into adjacent segments such as LNG as fuel and low-carbon solutions.
