GTT receives an order from Samsung Heavy Industries for the tank design of one new LNG Carrier

Paris, 2 July 2026 – GTT announces that it has received, in the second quarter of 2026, an order from Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard for the tank design of one new Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC), on behalf of a Bermudian ship-owner.

The LNGC will offer a capacity of 174,000 m³. Its cryogenic tanks, designed for the transport of LNG[1], will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, developed by GTT.

Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2028.
