GTT receives an order from Samsung Heavy Industries for the tank design of one new LNG Carrier

Paris, 21 July 2026 – GTT announces that it has received, in the second quarter of 2026, an order from Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard for the tank design of one new Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier, on behalf of an Oceanian ship-owner.

GTT will design the cryogenic tanks of the vessel, offering a total capacity of 174,000 m3. The tanks will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, a technology developed by GTT.

Delivery of the vessel is expected in the first quarter of 2029.
