Paris, 1 September 2026 – GTT was honoured to welcome today, at the Group’s headquarters in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, Mr. Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Welcomed by Mr. Philippe Berterottière, Chairman of GTT’s Board of Directors, together with Mr. Thierry Valot, Group Innovation Director, and Mr. Karim Chapot, Technical Director, the Minister toured several research and development laboratories and facilities. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight GTT’s innovation capabilities, the expertise of its teams, and its contribution to promoting French technological and industrial excellence internationally.

For more than sixty years, GTT has relied on innovation to develop membrane containment systems for the transport and storage of liquefied gases. With an average of nearly 10% of its revenue invested in R&D and more than 3,600 active patents and patent applications worldwide, the Group has ranked among the top three French mid-sized companies (ETIs[1]) for patent filings with the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI[2]) since 2019.

The visit also provided an opportunity to present the Group’s main areas of technological development, as well as the work carried out every day by its teams to design solutions deployed in industrial projects around the world.
